At Conexión Circular we protect the personal data of everyone who writes to us, applies to work with us or visits this website. This policy explains what data we process, why, for how long and how you can exercise your rights.
1. Data controller
The data controller is Conexion Circular SPA (Chile). For any question about this policy or your data, write to contacto@conexioncircular.cl.
2. Scope
This policy applies to www.conexioncircular.cl and its forms. The community portal and the on-site services we provide to communities inform their own data processing terms when data is collected.
3. What data we process
Contact form: name, company, job title, business email, project type, approximate number of communities and the message you send us.
Application form: name, email, phone (optional), region, area of interest, LinkedIn profile (optional) and what you tell us about yourself.
Browsing: technical data needed to run and protect the website (IP address, browser type, pages visited). Analytics and advertising cookies are only enabled if you accept them.
We do not request sensitive data. Please do not include it in the forms.
4. How we use it
To answer your request and, where relevant, prepare a proposal; to manage recruitment processes; to send you news only if you agree; to measure website usage if you accept analytics cookies; and to keep the website secure.
The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time, or pre-contractual steps taken at your request. We do not make automated decisions that affect you.
5. How long we keep it
Contact requests: for as long as we handle them and up to 24 months after the last contact, unless a business relationship requires keeping them longer.
Applications: up to 12 months from receipt.
News: until you withdraw your consent.
After these periods, we delete or anonymize the data.
6. Who we share it with
We do not sell or transfer personal data. It is only processed by technology providers that serve us under confidentiality and security obligations: Microsoft (Azure hosting and Microsoft 365 email) and, if you accept the relevant cookies, Google (Google Analytics) and LinkedIn. Some of these providers may store data outside Chile, with adequate safeguards.
We may also disclose data when required by law or by a competent authority.
7. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data: encrypted connections (HTTPS), access restricted to authorized staff and providers with recognized security standards.
8. Your rights
You can request access to, rectification, erasure, objection, portability and blocking of your data, and withdraw your consent, by writing to contacto@conexioncircular.cl. We will respond within the time limits set by law.
If you believe we did not handle your request properly, you may contact the competent personal data protection authority in Chile.
9. Cookies
We use technical cookies that are necessary for the website to work. Analytics (Google Analytics) and advertising (LinkedIn) cookies are only enabled with your consent, which you can change at any time from “Cookie preferences” at the bottom of every page.
10. Minors
This website is intended for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect legal changes or changes to our services. The current version will always be published on this page, with its update date.
